Even before I graduated from the British School of Osteopathy (now called University College of Osteopathy) in 1989 I was fascinated with the more gentle osteopathic treatment approaches. I was fortunate enough to be able to work with two extremely experienced osteopaths who took time to develop the diagnostic, management and treatment skills of the newly graduated osteopaths they employed. It was like being on an apprenticeship for several years. During this time I saw many patients, building up a palpation ‘database’ how health and dis-ease feels and learning from the example of the experts who had already been practicing osteopathy for decades.

My love for the gentle treatment approaches has never waivered. I continue to study at post-graduate courses and I am a founder member of a London study group who every month .

I work in a clinic that is a family practice, welcoming people of all ages from a few days old to some who are in their nineties. I enjoy seeing such a wide range of ages. I have over time developed a special interest in the treatment of mothers during pregnancy, post-natal care and the treatment of new-borns and children.
